Last year, 101 musicians from 33 countries uploaded videos to YouTube of themselves auditioning for the YouTube Symphony Orchestra 2011.

Chosen with the help of leading orchestras around the world and the YouTube community, the musicians have finally made it to the end of their journey to perform in an extraordinary concert conducted by Grammy-award winning YouTube Symphony Orchestra Artistic Advisor, Michael Tilson Thomas, and streamed live on YouTube directly from Sydney Opera House.

Join us for the culmination of the week long festival, in a Grand Finale concert which will be streamed live on YouTube from Sydney Opera House. The Grand Finale will be a multimedia extravaganza of soaring music accompanied by extraordinary projections on the interior Concert Hall and the exterior sails of the iconic Sydney Opera House.

Conversations with myself isn't so much a book as a literary album, containing snippets of Mandela's life, shards from diaries, calendars, letters, and also transcripts from 50 hours of recordings by Richard Stengel, who ghosted Mandela's autobiography Long way to freedom. If that all sounds somewhat scattershot and untidy, oddly it's not. The book is intensely moving, raw and unmediated, told in real time with all the changes in perspective that brings, over the years, mixing the prosaic with the momentous. Health concerns, dreams, political initiatives spill out together, to provide the fullest picture yet of Mandela.
